Steve’s 7 for 11 Showcase has been taken to comedy clubs around the country. The objectives for this project included creating promotional material and enhancing existing branding, video and sound recording of the live show, and event photography for his 7 for 11 Comedy Showcase.

Starting Point
Steve provided the logo you see here and outlined the scope of the project. I started with researching the retro 7/11 branding and creating a palette to expand branding elements. The elements I included were rounded bars of colors to intertwine with the foreground and background and create areas for text.
I used the expanded palette for colorful transitions in the video promotions below, as well as adding a neon sign effect for the “Comedy Showcase” subhead.
